Remedy Custom Guitars was founded by local musicians and long time friends Tony Massaro and Jackson (JT) Baumgardner. Both being in bands, and have had played in bands together, talk of guitars, parts, and new gear was often the center of conversation. In early 2020, the idea for Remedy guitars was born out of a garage, which was used as a workshop to upgrade guitars and get them gig ready. A close friend, and fellow local musician Isaiah Smith joined the team as their Head Designer. Isaiah designs unique guitar bodies for the Remedy Signature line "DeRose Customs.

     "We wanted to create guitars that were hand-built and played like a custom shop without the expensive price tag. Being local musicians, we know the wants and needs of a small band, and what will hold up on the road. Our guitars are built to be reliable while on the road, without having to break the bank. We wanted to make guitars that we would actually use in our bands live, and wanted to share that without community."
